The project involved the creation of a novel Conversational Information Retrieval system which drastically improved the relevance of retrieved documents by 70%. In such a system, a computer asks navigational questions to a user, in case the formulated query is ambiguous and might refer to different topics (for example the query “bass” might refer to a fish or a music instrument).

Mainly worked on the introduction of intentional errors to the system using Wiener Process with the goal to simulate situations such as distraction of the driver, over- or underestimation of speed or steering. Additionally, introduced a speed controller using Neural Network to adjust the car's velocity depending on the road's curvature.

Mainly worked on frontend development and used the react native framework to create an iOS/ Android app that sends user entered data to a server and receives updated information from the Backend. Biography
I was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Since a young age, I am interested in how things work and I was very eager to dive into the world of Robotics after graduating from high school.
My Bachelor's degree program in Intelligent Mobile Systems provided me with the amazing opportunity to learn about interesting topics such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Physics.
After completing an exchange semester at the Ivey league University of Pennsylvania, my interest for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning was sparked.
Following a transdisciplinary approach in my studies allows me to broaden my horizon and also learn about different fields such as Economics, Finance and Bioinformatics.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy traveling hiking, and snowboarding.
